  • Your pet could be one of 5 winners in this year's competition for the greatest percentage weight loss amongst participating dogs and cats.
  • To enter you need to attend a participating vet clinic with your pet. The vet must determine the goal weight for your pet and recommend an appropriate Hill's Prescription Diet food. The vet will need to verify your pet's starting weight on the Hill's PetFit Progress Tracker (online) or on your Progress Tracker record card.
  • "Before" and "After" photos of your pet should be taken and submitted before close of business on 7/11/2016. If you are not using the online Progress Tracker to manage your pet's weight loss program you will need your vet to verify your pet's weight-loss by stamping the progress chart with a clinic stamp and then submit your completed Hill's PetFit Progress Tracker card along with your pet's before and after photos
  • Details from your Progress Tracker as well as your vet's verification of weight details will also be used in the judging process.
  • The top 5 winners each will receive a $500 Flight Centre travel voucher plus Hill’s Pet Nutrition Pet Food to the value of $500.
  • Closing date for entries is 23:59 EDT on the 7/11/2016.
  • Even if your pet's not a winner, they still can get great rewards just by completing the programme*.

Some facts to keep in mind

  • The food your pet eats plays an important part in their overall health and well-being. And a nutritious, complete and balanced diet is an essential part of an active lifestyle.
  • Even if your pet does not show any signs of being overweight, it is important to have regular weight checks at the veterinarian to make sure his or her ideal weight is maintained.
  • The key to keeping a diabetic pet healthy is routine. Feeding, exercise and if necessary, giving medication should take place at the same times each day. This helps maintain stable blood glucose levels. Your veterinarian will give you advice.
